Chef Nikos Karathanos, who had already embarked on a successful career after working in prestigious Greek restaurants, decided to reinvent himself with a new offering in partnership with two restaurateurs. Located on the corner of Aiolou and Miltiadou streets, in a charming, carefully restored 19th-century neoclassical building, it offers cuisine with a character of its own, inspired by Greek recipes rooted in memory but presented with a contemporary touch. On the tasting menu, where the chef presents his most gastronomic take, alongside à la carte options, he recreates classics such as Moussaka, Greek Salad (which we enjoyed greatly), Pastitsio and Lamb Fricassee with seasonal greens… The space is spread over two floors, with the kitchen in the middle, and has a delightful terrace with beautifully laid tables. Inside, the counter showcases the ‘Salumería’ section, offering a variety of cured meats and cheeses that are also available on a dedicated menu.
