Situated on the fifth floor of Signiel Busan, Chaoran presents a refined Chinese menu with a strong focus on Cantonese cuisine. Its dim sum selection is particularly varied, from har gow wrapped in squid ink-tinted skin and finished with gold leaf to vegetable dumplings filled with truffle, assorted mushrooms and asparagus, as well as dim sum combining dried scallops, XO sauce and flying fish roe. Among the signatures, the honey-glazed barbecue and crispy pork belly stand out for their succulent meat, crisp skin and well-judged seasoning. Inspired by 1920s Hong Kong, the elegant dining room offers sweeping views over Haeundae, providing a distinctive setting in which to enjoy Chaoran’s Cantonese cooking.
