Part of the renowned Alpenresort Schwarz, this upscale modern restaurant is housed in the historic main building, which dates back to 1694. Joachim Jaud, who hails from nearby Telfs, completed his apprenticeship here before honing his skills at top-flight establishments. Since April 2024, he and his small kitchen team have been serving up a creative, seasonal set menu of five or seven courses. Nuanced and full of character, his cooking is skilfully pared back to the essentials. Classical French cuisine is combined with local and Asian influences to great effect. He uses only top-notch ingredients, which take centre stage in dishes such as scallop with ponzu or pigeon with truffle. The fine selection of wines includes numerous organic labels and a few rare gems. The service is exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional.
