De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
In the maze of alleys and narrow streets of Pacentro, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, the Taverna de li Caldora is housed in a historic building overlooking the main square. Since 1978, the Cercone family has been serving cuisine firmly rooted in the traditions of Abruzzo, with a particular focus on the region’s ingredients. Specialities include maccheroni alla chitarra with saffron from L’Aquila and truffles, goat’s milk ricotta ravioli, and the unmissable grilled meats, particularly lamb chops and arrosticini. To round off the experience, there is a panoramic terrace offering a splendid view of the Peligna Valley.
