Created in 1975, the Parco Regionale della Maremma has proved a real success. On this relatively small territory, where the climate is continental, Mediterranean or even sub-desert, there are wild boars (the park emblem), foxes, roe deer, seagulls, herons etc. The themed trails - San Rabano and Le Torri are particularly beautiful - show the amazing diversity of the landscapes of the park, but you can also go on lovely horseback, bicycle and even horse-drawn carriage rides.
