Overlooking the Miramichi estuary, this old stone farmhouse (1820) has been restored to the period when Alexander MacDonald and his family lived in it. Beside the river a "net" shed, complete with fishing gear, can be seen. Visitors are invited to participate in domestic farm chores and learn traditional crafts.
