The present cathedral was begun in 1459 and finished in the 19C. It is home to some interesting works by Giovan Battista Moroni, Sebastiano Ricci and Andrea Previtali, as well as paintings of martyrs by Neapolitan artist Nicola Malinconico (1694) and Tiepolo (1745).
