The trip to Cape Agulhas (Needle Cape) is mainly symbolic. Although less awe-inspiring than Cape Point and not as legendary as the Cape of Good Hope, it remains the southernmost tip of the African continent, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. It was turned into a national park with the aim of protecting the endangered native flora.
