De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
The rich collections of this major museum chart the history of Alberta. Northwest art is illustrated by the works of wildlife artist, Carl Rungius (1869-1959). Another prominent figure of the province was John Ware (1845-1905), the first black cowboy and rancher of Alberta. One section is devoted to the First Nations of the Plains of Alberta and the Siksika nations' chief, Crowfoot (1830-1890), while yet another section reviews the artistic diversity of the First Nations.
