The Fine Arts Museum was extended in 2016. The new cube-shaped, highly minimalist edifice is linked to the Villa Planta, restored by new and larger exhibition halls in the basement. It principally exhibits paintings and sculptures by artists who were either from the Graubünden or who moved here in the 18-20C (Barthélemy Menn, Angelica Kauffmann, Giovanni Segantini, Augusto and Alberto Giacometti). Works by Expressionist (EL Kirchner, Andreas Walser) and contemporary artists complete the collection.
