The Barrio de la Morería at the foot of the ruined castle that dominates the town is a tangled maze of winding narrow whitewashed streets interlinked by endless steps. The neighbourhood still has an abundance of Arab charm. Take a look at the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores (Our Lady of Sorrow), with its fine Renaissance cloisters and an interesting Baroque altarpiece above the high altar.
