Symbolic of Limoges' inter-war prosperity and development, the edifice is a landmark and one of the city's most well-known monuments. Built from 1923-1929, it features a blue-green dome on a platform above the tracks. A clock tower and an esplanade (Champ-de-Juillet) enhance it.
