Montreal's premier cultural venue for the visual and performing arts contains six stages, in addition to a museum and a wide range of areas open to the public. The Esplanade for example hosts the famous International Jazz Festival. Three additional outdoor areas are also available: Festival square, the Parterre and the Artists' walkway.
