Built from 1642 to 1647 on the request of Kasper Freuler, an officer and mercenary who served in the French army, this fine house contains collections of the local museum of Glaris. The other rooms are interesting for their décor, especially the room lined with marble and with stuccoed vaults and the ceremonial rooms that contain a number of masterpieces.
