The sanctuary was founded in 1426 on the slopes of Mount Grifone. You can get there through the cemetery, where you will find several beautiful 19C Patrician tombs. The main entrance has a marble architrave and uprights, decorated with bas-reliefs. The left gate is Gothic. Inside, you can see a superb wooden statue of the Virgin, dating from 1470.
