Built at the end of Louis XIV's reign, this château has been owned by the de Lastic family since 1707. Often referred to as the "little Versailles of Auvergne," it features an impressive collection of paintings, including works by Vigée Le Brun and Largillierre. The furnishings date back to the Louis XIV and Louis XV periods, and the library boasts 10,000 volumes. After the Revolution, the garden was redesigned into an English-style park.
