Perched on a slope at the north end of the park, it dates back to the 14C. It was remodelled in the 16C and retains from that period fortifications and a magnificent interior courtyard surrounded by arcaded galleries on every floor. It is now a museum with an impressive collection presenting works from the Middle Ages to the 20C: examples of Italian and Spanish Baroque, Aubusson tapestries, Empire furnishings and German Art Nouveau furniture.
