The Highveld boasts the beautiful Mac Mac pools, and you can stop off a bit farther upstream at majestic Mac Mac Falls, which plunge 56m down into a gorge lined with ferns and forests. The name Mac Mac is linked to a group of Scottish gold diggers who came to the region. The broad Forest Falls drop from a height of 18m into a huge natural pool.
