Take a tram out of the centre to stroll around this suburb of Sarajevo, already famous in ancient times for its hot springs. Today, with a very modern recreational complex (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc) and a vast park (Vrelo Bosne, where the Bosne River flows), Ilidža attracts many tourists. Ponds, islets, small bridges, where ducks and swans go about their lives, make this a peaceful place, far from the hubbub of the city and conducive to relaxation.
