From the main beach, you must go through the gates of the former Fort Frederick to get to this temple, dominated by a monumental statue of Shiva. Several sacred statuettes discovered in the digs there prompted the temple's reconstruction in the 2000s. Don't be alarmed by the population of deer wandering around the temple: they are the sanctuary's true protectors!
