Not only is the building of Sant'Anastasia attractive in itself but it also houses several masterpieces: the famous fresco by Pisanello depicting St Georges delivering the Princess of Trebizond (1436), which is both realist and fantastic, a collection of 24 15C terracottas by Michele da Firenze and a votive fresco by Altichiero of Verona, the Warriors of the Cavalli family presented to the Virgin.
