De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
Few landscapes can compete with the grandiose beauty of Glacier National Park, a superb mosaic of alpine cirques, lakes and streams, waterfalls and glaciers nowadays threatened by global warming. These mountains dominate the valleys from 900m to 2 000m and form part of the Continental Divide. East of this line, arid lands with sparse vegetation contrast with the humid ecosystem favourable to the conifers of the western slopes.
