Beschrijving
A javelin throw from Langeais château, make a halt in this pretty tufa stone house. The period wainscoting and parquet floors are offset by contemporary furnishings, which add a bright, cheerful note. Chef Pascal Bouvier crafts inventive recipes, inspired by regional produce, illustrated by veal, baby carrots, sweet potatoes, tamarind and arabica jus or white asparagus, braised pork belly (kakuni) and roasted pomelos. The combinations are sometimes surprising but always spot-on for fine meals with the added bonus of charming service. The lovely terrace in summertime is the final cherry on the cake.
