The ‘Old Press’ is a characterful 17C inn which sits in the heart of town; you enter into a pretty courtyard – the perfect spot for a summer’s lunch – and then through into a series of welcoming farmhouse-style rooms. The ambitious chef offers a classic Hungarian menu which is packed with flavour – the well-priced Galloway beef from their own farm is a speciality.
