A small contemporary bistro, run by a young couple in the restaurant business. "Sel" (salt) and "ardoise" (slate) allude to the owners' origins, Normandy and Ardennes. For 20 tightly packed covers, they create lovely seasonal cooking that owes much to the organic vegetables supplied by market gardeners from the area. The lunch menu is a bargain.
