This breezy haven is at once pretty and edgy, thanks to its location in a former auto-body shop. The festive aura and fruit-laden lime trees practically command you to order a margarita. In a departure from the norm, the bar area is located inside, while the family-friendly dining room is outdoors. Windows overlooking the kitchen offer enticing views of the tortilla making. However delectable those may be, this kitchen’s real specialty is mesquite grilling, from the meat that fills your tacos to the subtly charred sweet corn, cut from the cob and mixed with chili-spiked crema. The midday menu is comprised of smaller plates like tacos or chips coupled with roasted salsa vaquero. Reservations are not accepted, so lines are just part of the fun.
