Situated on the mountain pass road (Puertos) which crosses the Picos de Europa National Park, Puerto de San Glorio marks the boundary between Cantabria and Castilla y León. The pass rises to an altitude of 1 609m. A track leads north from the pass to near the Peña de Llesba (approx. 2km). This mirador, a magnificent natural belvedere, offers splendid views. The eastern range lies to the right, while to the left, the steep south face of the central massif can be seen dominating Fuente Dé. In the foreground, to the left, admire the Coriscao peak (2 234m).
