A headland tapering into imposing rocks: the Cypriot coast is superb here! According to mythology, this is where the goddess Aphrodite was born out of the sea spray formed by the water crashing against this "Rock of the Greek" (Petra tou Romiou). Two options: for the photo opportunity (sublime at sundown), an esplanade above the bay is the ideal viewpoint. Or you can head down to the pebble beach to paddle in the miraculous spume.
