Salamína was one of the most powerful kingdoms in Ancient Cyprus and the city survived until Byzantine times. In a very evocative site, you will first see the gymnasium with its exercise track, the well-preserved baths then the partly restored Roman theatre. By progressing through the fragrant scrubland, you will also come to a perfectly cleared ancient road. And after the visit you can freshen up at a beach not far away.
