The Prazuela de Santa Bárbara is a haven of tranquillity in the old town. This small shaded square is a popular venue for concerts during the Maria Píta festival in August. It partly flanks the convent of the same name, the latter featuring somewhat austere walls, but with a doorway crowned by a beautiful Romanesque lintel representing the weighing of souls.
