Starting from Albi's Tourist Office, follow the Circuit Azur (Blue Loop) along the nicely fitted-out banks of the Tarn River, from where there are superb views of the city and the old fortifications. The walk also takes you to Pont Vieux and close to the Lapérouse Museum.
