The rocket pointing skywards outside the building sets the tone for this museum dedicated to the history of American nuclear energy, with New Mexico playing an important role in this industry, notably through the Los Alamos Manhattan Project. Exhibits, reproductions, portraits and films, as well as comics, games and songs all trace the development of nuclear energy from the development of the atomic bomb to the current day, touching on topics such as the Cold War and Hiroshima.
