Beschrijving
This all-white building from 1268 blends Romanesque austerity with Arab imagination. Its galleries house fine sarcophagi and marble mosaic decorations. All around the cloister there are chapels decorated with frescoes. From the cloister, there is a fine view of the campanile. The diocesan museum is set up in the Basilica of the Crucifix, a 9C cathedral that has today reverted to its original Romanesque forms.
