Beschrijving

This museum is home to an impressive collection by sculptor Frederic Marès. The sculpture section provides an extensive overview of Spanish art. Note a collection of crucifixes and crosses (12C-14C), a 16C entombment and the Vocation of Saint Peter, in marble from the 12C by the master Cabestany. The Gabinete del coleccionista (Collectors' display case) contains a range of everyday objects. The visit ends in the artist's reconstituted workshop.
