This large and magnificent aquarium presents a diversified approach to the marine biotope and special bond between Biarritz and the ocean. The Cetaceans Gallery exhibits skeletons of animals that have been washed up. See impressive Caribbean green morays, seals, the touch tank and a bird's-eye view over the Rocher de la Vierge. The highlight of the visit is the sharks, in particular the extremely rare hammerhead sharks, which are difficult to acclimatise; it's the only aquarium in France that has them.
