Nestled in the city's "Basque Block," this museum pays homage to the fact that Boise is home to the largest Basque community outside the group's native Spain and France. The museum houses a library, oral history archive, photographs and other memorabilia. The surrounding block includes Basque restaurants, a grocery store, significant historical buildings and even a jai alai court.
