Beschrijving
Poppelsdorf Palace (1715-1753) was built according to plans by French architect Robert de Cotte. On the town side, note the façade with three pavilions reflecting the French classical influence. As for the inner courtyard, you will see that it is reminiscent of the Italian style. The university's botanical garden stretches out behind the palace.
