Built in the 1970s, this district of offices, administrative buildings, apartments and shopping centres consists of numerous glass and concrete buildings of varying forms, linked by elevated passageways and interspersed with green spaces dotted with fountains and ponds. Buildings of particular interest include the Caisse d'Épargne, the bibliothèque (library) with its mirrored exterior, the Hôtel de Région with its vertical concrete lines, and the all-metal Hôtel des Impôts.
