Beschrijving
The restored Marksburg castle, built on a site high above the river, is the only one in the valley never to have been destroyed. The great battery, medieval garden (170 species) and armoury (exhibits ranging from 600BC to the 15C) are of particular interest to visitors. The guided tour of the castle provides an insight into life in a castle during the Middle Ages.
