Water is the overriding feature of this natural park. The Treja runs through volcanic foothills, painting an iconic Etruscan landscape, complete with sheer tuff walls, unspoiled ravines and deep gorges. At Monte Gelato, the Treja forms a series of small waterfalls near an old mill, another picturesque picture. Inside the 620ha-park, don't miss the high-perched, historic village of Calcata, home to a contemporary art museum set in the heart of natural scenery.
