Praktische informatie

Beschrijving

Sardinia's first Phoenician-Carthaginian town, Nora lies on a small peninsula joined to terra firma at two spots by an isthumus and whose highest point is Capo di Pula. Between the 9C and 8C BC, the Phoenicians were attracted by the many accessible points along the coast. The vestiges of Nora that are visible today date principally from the 2C-3C: the golden age. The city was abandoned around 7C. A pleasant walk to the northeast of the site takes you to the three lovely adjacent beaches of Nora, I Fichi and Sa Guventeddu.
