These include the Charleston County Court House built in 1788 (state law), the Renaissance Revival U.S. Court House and Post Office built in 1896 (federal law), the Palladian-style City Hall built in 1801 (municipal law), and the Georgian-style St. Michael's Episcopal Church (God's law).
