The Art Deco lines of this historic skyscraper are typical of the Roaring Twenties. The building's dark granite façade embellished with gold leaf can be made out from the DuSable bridge to the south. This office building was home to the Hard Rock Hotel from 2004 to 2017, when it closed and was replaced by the St Jane Chicago hotel.
