Duck into this peaceful sanctuary to escape the hustle and bustle of Michigan Avenue. The Fourth Presbyterian Church (1914) is an elegant reminder of Michigan Avenue's bygone days. It is the neo-Gothic work of Ralph Adams Cram, in partnership with Howard Van Doren Shaw. The church is renowned for the purity of its Aeolian Skinner organ, and concerts here are highly popular. The charming cloisters and fountain at the front of the ivy-clad parish house exude a soothing sense of serenity.
