Its modern layout and magnificent collections make this one of the finest ethnographic museums of the country. Displayed by theme (agriculture, fishing and hunting, breeding, handicrafts, daily life and rites), its extensive collection provides a fascinating insight into the traditional lifestyles in Transylvania, including Maramureş. The highlight of the visit is the fantastic costume collection, displayed on mannequins. Not to be missed!
