If you are staying in Davos or the surrounding area, an excursion to the Dischma Valley, as affecting a sight whether clad in mist or bathed in sunlight, is recommended. A small road runs along its enchanting site as far as Dürrboden: superb high pastures dotted with forests, typical homes and little mountains, with the backdrop of the Scaletta Glacier. A hike as far as the Grialetsch refuge takes you through an arid high-mountain landscape in contrast with the very verdant character of the lower valley.
