De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
An extraordinary example of Numidian royal architecture, the 21m-high Libyan-Punic mausoleum, crowned by a pyramid, was built at the end of the 3C BC to house the tomb of Ataban. This information is provided by an inscription, in Libyan and Punic, which was once visible on the lower part of the building. Removed by Sir Thomas Read, a British Consul in the 19C, it is now on display in the British Museum.
