This house is an integral part of an 18C Georgian terrace, and has either kept or reproduced the original furniture and decoration, belonging to the widow and three children who lived here from 1794 to 1806. Among the many fascinating testimonials to life in this period are a wine tank designed by Francis Johnston and a round hot-water bottle for the stomach.
