A man-made hill was built in the early 18C to allow the installation of a Way of the Cross. Its 24 stations, made up of 200 traditional wooden and stone statues, realistically and theatrically tell the story of the Passion. The Bergkirche ("Hill Church"), completed in 1803, houses the Haydn Mausoleum.
