This cathedral, of Gothic origin, was rebuiltin the Manueline style in the 16C by Francisco Arruda. The interior, the pillars of which were decorated in the Manueline era, has an 18C marble-tiled chancel. The entrance ticket to the Museu de Arte Sacra includes access to the Canons' Hall and the sacristy.
